Whitstable is a popular holiday destination in the summer and things can get booked at extremely quickly, so booking accommodation as soon as possible is recommended.

Hotels

Hotel Continental:
Expensive but right on the beach. Rooms clean but small. 4 min walk to venue, with option for walking along the beach. No elevators.
Fishermans’ huts:
More expensive but pretty unqiue. 5 min walk to the venue.
Premier Inn:
On the edge of town (but the town isn’t that big!). Approx 30 min walk to venue, 10 min drive. On the main bus route, with a bus stop right outside the hotel, and a stop 1 min walk from the venue. Buses approx every 10 minutes.
Marine Hotel:
Actually in Tankerton, not Whitstable, but 10 min walk to the venue, with option for walking along the beach. Right on Tankerton slopes overlooking the sea. The room we saw had a newly decorated room but the bathroom was a little shabby. Aimed more at an elder generation.
